Born in a Florentine workshop
VELOURA started in 2019 inside a third-generation leather atelier in Florence's Oltrarno district. We had one belief: premium quality shouldn't require a logo to announce itself. Our first collection — four bags, one wallet — sold out in eleven days.
Three ateliers, one standard
Today our leather goods are still cut in Florence, our footwear is lasted in Porto's historic shoemaking quarter, and our intimate wellness line is engineered in Stockholm. Different crafts, identical standards: honest materials, tested construction, design that whispers.
Wellness, without whispering
We believe intimate wellbeing belongs in the same conversation as skincare and sleep. Our AUREA line is built from medical-grade materials, engineered to be quieter than a library, and shipped so discreetly that even the courier doesn't know. Self-care includes pleasure — we simply design for it properly.
Responsibility
Vegetable-tanned hides from certified Tuscan tanneries. Recycled knits. OEKO-TEX silk. Plastic-free packaging since 2024, and a repair programme that has returned over 6,000 pieces to daily rotation instead of landfill.
